Your enquiry.
Your information.

During pre-launch, enquiry collection is disabled. This notice describes the intended live service.

Who is responsible?

ValetPage

What we collect and why

If you send an enquiry, we collect your name, business name, email, service area and any website link or message you choose to provide. We use this to assess your request, respond and, if you choose to order, prepare and deliver your website. Please don’t include payment details or sensitive personal information.

We use information necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and to perform a contract if one is agreed. Where you enquire for another business, our legitimate interest is handling that business enquiry. Security controls and basic aggregate traffic counts support our legitimate interest in keeping the service available and understanding whether it is useful.

Cookies and traffic counts

This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies and includes no advertising pixels. It counts page requests and enquiries by day and a simple source label, such as “meta-launch”. Counts are not unique people and can include bots. We do not create visitor profiles.

For abuse prevention, the application holds a one-way hash of an email or IP address alongside request times for up to 24 hours. Hosting infrastructure may also process IP addresses and basic request information. No form content is intentionally written to web server access logs.

Where information goes

Enquiries are stored on our OVHcloud hosting server. The operator and authorised OpenAI tools used to help respond and deliver websites may process them. Our business email uses Spaceship’s Spacemail service. If you choose to pay through Stripe, Stripe processes the payment details on its own hosted payment page; this website does not collect card details. We do not sell enquiry details or add enquirers to a marketing list.

How long we retain it

Unconverted enquiries are reviewed and removed within 90 days after the last substantive contact. Customer and accounting records are kept separately for the period required for the business’s legal and tax obligations. Routine backups are kept for up to 14 days and can temporarily retain recently deleted records until they expire.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict its use or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Some information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations. Contact the business email above. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

The demonstration

The fictional Afterglow example creates an enquiry message in your browser only. Its form does not transmit or save what you type.
